Great point. Hank's argument was that nothing nefarious was happening with these pride month celebrations in public schools, saying it was just teaching children that homosexuals exist.
He then shows up a few days later commenting on how shameful this teacher is behaving, completely unaware how it undercuts his dismissive attitude in the other thread.
This needs to be brought up anytime he shows up in LGBTQ threads trying to minimize what's happening.

I think it is ridiculous to react like Chicken Little to the fact that these events are being HELD. You people think that the teachers at these things are encouraging pre-pubescent kids to engage in anal sex or something, and I think you are being hysterical. No, I do not think that is happening on any large scale, if at all. If it IS happening on some small scale, the teacher in question should be subject to discipline.
At the same time, I think that parents should be aware of these events. If they do not want their kids to attend, so be it. It is a social issue, and that should be their choice.
The two positions are not remotely inconsistent.

Is there a difference between vocally encouraging young pre-pubescent kids to engage in anal sex and telling those same pre pubescent kids that it's still okay to do that in their own private life?
