Has anything else been released by the CISD police chief, the incident commander who made the bad calls?

He was elected to the city council 3 weeks ago, with over 70% of the vote, he will be sworn in on Tuesday.

He’s. The Ulvaldi city chief of police. He is not the ISD police chief that was in control at the school. Two different people

+1
the guy that wrote the letter was not the officer who delayed police from going in.

This. The Uvaldi chief may be a POS too, but from all accounts Ive read, he was not the one on scene making the calls to stand down.

That was none other than Chief Arredondo of the Uvalde CISD police dept.

Has anything been released contradicting this yet?

I can't imagine the citizenry goes along with this. This guy has to be a pariah in that city.

Next letter from him should be his resignation.

I kept expecting his last sentence to be:

"With that said, I take this opportunity to announce the retirement of myself and my entire department."

And he should have told his men to ignore that clown school police chief and get their asses inside.

All I got out of this was “we were there quickly with the other guys & our guys got gunshot wounds so feel bad about us too. Stop being so mean.”

The shooting began at the funeral home. Where the city cops would have jurisdiction. They pursued him to the school and then handed jurisdiction off to a 911 dispatcher.

This chief should have already been fired.

how many grammar issues do you see? at least word word needs ing added. from a grammar standpoint i dont see what your fuss is. there's some mildly questionable syntax but overall grammar is ok.

Sound like a lot of self serving bullshite. “Our officers responded within minutes.” Okay, and how many minutes was it from the time they responded to the time they actually engaged the guy murdering children?

Was he not on the scene? Was there something else going on in Uvalde that demanded his attention?
