Did anyone catch what she said about carbon capture? I missed it.

Did you have to pay for that?

I think Rep. Letlow did very well on the interview. She definitely aced it.

But Kenny didn't keep interrupting her like he did to Fleming yesterday. So everyone take that for what it's worth. In fact...I don't think she was interrupted a single time while answering their questions.

Sounds like they caught hell for treating Fleming bad. Fleming will be back on Friday morning.

Really? Honestly, that tells me one of two things, either:

1 - Fleming lets shite roll off his back and is willing to sit down with almost anyone, even after everything went to shite the first time. Which is a positive, in my unprofessional opinion; or..

2 - Despite what his campaign is putting out, he's a decent bit behind in the polls and needs all the air/face time he can get for a prayer to make the runoff.

I sure hope it isn't #2.

My recollection...as I was trying to multitask with an earbud listening, she said she believes the projects should be vetted for safety, and she agrees that eminent domain shouldn't be a default for the projects. I don't believe she directly answered whether or not taxpayers should be funding these projects...which is the only way they're remotely profitable.

Maybe, but after I heard the Letlow interview, I went back and listened to the Fleming one, since I didn't hear it yesterday. Even Steve treated the two much differently. He interrupted Fleming multiple times as well with Mr. Kenneth's voice.

I don't think someone is paying them off, as some folks on social media have suggested, but it's obvious they are helping out their buddy, the Governor, on this one.

You missed the most obvious. Their listeners raised hell so they are bringing him back on

Lol they frequently take vacations together so Kenny can't possibly annoy him too terribly.

I didn't miss that part at all.

The point I was trying to make is that there are very few politicians, or people in general for that matter, who would return and do another interview, especially live, after the way the one yesterday went down.

I'm glad their listeners gave them hell though, for the way they acted yesterday. I like the show...but what they did yesterday was a hatchet job. It was disappointing.

Yeah. The comment section in different posts their Facebook page made yesterday as well as the fan group were full of people commenting that they had already or were planning to vote for Fleming. Lots more calling them out on the Fleming phone call and several talking about how they’re in the bag for Jeff Landry and supporting RINO Republicans.

I don’t think they realized how big of a network of supporters has slowly but surely built up in this thing.

Buuuuuuuut all this could have been done because they knew they’d engagement out of it. I guess I’ve turned into a cynic but when it comes to anything regarding entertainment that sponsors and ad space are tied to I don’t think anything just happens organically. I think they knew exactly what would happen and how the people would react to it and now they’ve got folks ready to tune in Friday. The show isn’t what it used to be, there’s more and more days where it’s a re-run, “Best Of”, or they just seemingly leave early and even long term listeners are tuning out. Kenny does himself no favors in general with the way he talks too much or gets off topic doesn’t finish the story he was trying to tell. I think they realized they needed some kind of hook.

Carbon capture is the biggest pile of bullshite. It was created to siphon tax dollars to plants. It was something created to receive taxpayer money.

Secondly, did Kenny ask Letlow about her insider trading? What about her DEI bullshite? That's the exact reason i am NOT voting for her.

The 'aw shucks' routine was cringe. Her history speaks for itself.

As a recent commenter observed, when spell check keeps changing her name to 'letdown,' that's a cosmic sign that she's not the right choice.

Fleming it is.

He did, and she gave the same answers she keeps giving.

"I'm just a single mom trying to buy groceries, so I have someone independent managing my finances, and I support the bill to ban insider trading in Congress." Which may very well be true.

"You remember how hectic 2020 was. DEI was presented as something to help people out, but then was hijacked by the left, and when I got to Congress, I fought to end it."

Again...though keep in mind I'm not some political consultant, I do think she came off very well in the interview. She put forth the message she's been putting out, and she did come off as very likable. But, she was also definitely treated much different than Fleming was yesterday. They pretty much gushed over her.

I think you’re correct on this point actually…money talks and BS walks …and Cassidy and Letlow have a good bit more $$. Plus, the Trump factor is real.

Which is why I predict a Cassidy / Letlow runoff. At the end of the day, need plenty of money and backing to get enough votes.

No ma’am, it was created by the left from day one and you are a woman so naturally you fell for it because they preyed upon your soft heart.
