They've been trying to temper expectations for a while, the Ukranians have been exceeding them and been in a position to demand more and then the Poles and some other European countries have decided to go all gungho and donate everything and renew everything they have.

That was the point of the thread. The NYT posted an article and specifically highlighted a number that goes against all Western estimates. Then they stress that the docs appear to be altered. So the 2+2 here makes you wonder

to be fair all that equipment is just a drop in the bucket. doesn't really have any real impact. if they want to beat back the Russians, they better commit 10K tanks, 20K pieces of 155 artillery, 15K fighter/bombers, almost all of NATOs 5.56 supply and 300K infantryman.

If those numbers were accurate, Russian troops would be in Kiev and the war over.

Dont pay any attention to the thousands of Russian troops mounting on all sides.
Just let them be and stop sending money, you can always blame it on Trump. Heck the DOJ will probably try and prosecute him for war crimes.
