Twinkle Toes Gavin Newsom comes to mind, caught on tape at that fancy restaurant, big ole group of folks all huddled up fraternizing at a table, probably literally making jokes about all the poor schmucks “locked in their houses” by his own order and “hahaha it’s not even necessary!”
The double standard is bad enough but what is truly striking is the ruling class had no fear of covid. Despite the media selling non-stop, apocalypse covid doom, the ruling class apparently knew there was no real danger to themselves or their families. It seems they had widespread knowledge that the masses were being badly manipulated. All part of the plan.

was absolutely bullshite that elitist politicians were throwing parties while telling everyone else to stay home.

Are there new leaks coming out? Isn't that part of what got Boris canned?
Yes but now you have some family/families suing for him to never be elected to office again because of what he did or didnt do during covid and the party is an example of his not caring.
Does this sound remotely familiar? Same thing as US, same in Brazil, same in Pakistan.
Its so ironic, when I was younger we used to topple communist govts, now we want to get rid of any smidgeon of democracy at home and abroad. Beam me up Scottie.....

Teddy,
I think the point is, people are being murdered in the street, the price of energy is about triple what it was in Britain two years ago, inflation is eating their arses up........and the lead story is the video.
It speaks volumes about what the elites think you should be concerned with rather than all the real issues they caused.

There was also the cover up. Boris Johnson tried to lie his way out of this, claiming it was a simple office planned without his knowledge, and he only made a brief appearance.
The coverup is always worse than the crime.

The second main story was the stabbing murder spree that left 3 dead. Still waiting on these fricking knives to stop stabbing people.
America has more knife violence than the UK does.
It's just that violence and murder sprees are so common in the US that they're not mentioned at all.
There are probably going to be 100+ people shot over the next month and they're not going to be covered on US news because it's so common.
The UK had 710 homicides last year. That's 3550 homicides once you scale for population to compare to the US.
The US had 26,031 homicides last year.
That's over 7x the homicide rate.
I really, really don't think the US has any right to talk about the homicides going on in other countries when Louisiana had a homicide rate close to Botswana (19 homicides per 100,000 people which is 19x higher than the UK).

And you fail to realize that those things are happening because our "leaders" are hypocritical scum. We can argue over issues but EVERYONE can unite around this video and admit it is wrong and demand accountability.
Hypocrisy and moral character are not trivial issues because they always lead somewhere bad.

Wasn’t Newsom and Pelosi caught doing similar things
Not the same.
They thought they were helping out a French immigrant keep his laundromat open

British press is doing what most all the US press had done for years. They are shaping a narrative so Britain never has another conservative government.
