So if there’s anyone on the brink, it’s certainly not Beijing.
It’s Washington.
We still are a large generally self sufficient country with wonderful farm land with a long navigable river separated from those who might wish us ill by two large oceans and a large ocean going navy.

China isn't shite. Their government is damn near on the brink of collapse. Their people are holding on to the money they have which is about 85 trillion.
On the other hand, we have 160 trillion. They don't have our economy. They don't have our farm land. They don't have our energy sector. They continue to steal intellectual property. Even when they do that, they're still not good enough because their skilled labor sucks arse which is evident from the quality of the shite we have been buying from them for the last 25 years.
Until they get rid of their corrupt government and learn some sense of ethical behavior in the world market, cut them the hell off! Let them rot!

Is it embarrassing that all your Twitter heroes post unaltered ChatGPT figs and tables?

Thanks. He was a pure tankie and likely a paid one. I realized that in his thread trying to claim Chinese robotics were ahead of ours. Pure propaganda talking points.

You're not very bright are you. Might even say that you're simple.
The data from your post, regardless of who wrote articles or X message, is from China agencies or People Republic bank. I've never questioned who wrote anything, just the source of data they're using. BOTOH, like I said, I don't know if propaganda, but I have my suspicions.
Carry on.

China’s biggest issue at this point is a population time bomb. They have a metric frick ton of old people
Currently their >65y/o-to-GeneralPopulation ratio is just under 15%. But it's slated to double to ~30% over the next two decades. China being China though, they might just orchestrate an old-person kill-off as a "final solution" remedy.

Regardless, the OP ignores the fact that Trump has China over a barrel in these tariff negotiations. The same trade surplus China rode to this point is its key vulnerability. China has long maintained a ~3.5 to 1 Export:Import trade ratio with 1st world nations.
Sans state control, that imbalance would cure itself. But the CCP was having none of that. The CCP views subsidized trade imbalance as a way to drain the west of wealth. So, far from promoting or even allowing a "cure," the CCP did the opposite.
As a result, and despite contrived PPP data, the fact is Chinese consumers cannot afford the goods they are producing, much less the western goods they'd like to buy. Their productivity is being transferred back to the state through revenue and currency manipulation rather than to responsible production teams.
Unfortunately, without CCP cooperation, the only remedy for the Chinese people is a reduction in western demand forcing a transition to Chinese domestic consumption. But that transition, when or if it occurs, will entail a good deal of economic pain. As with its one-child policy, the CCP has dug itself a deep hole here. At some point, they should have realized the west might wise up.

We have rare earth minerals in the U.S. tied up in litigation

Several African countries are loaded with them as well. It is a supply chain, rather than an availability issue. China is trying to corner some of those underdeveloped REM sources as well with its road and belt initiatives. Again, targeted to eventually drain western wealth.
The CCP is the Gordon Gekko of international economies ---take, take, take, with no give back.

I stated this earlier in the thread, this is the other side of the coin
quote:
they dont have a census, they have an official registry and the way they tabulate births and population increase is by school enrollment numbers
the school admins inflate their numbers to get higher money subsidies from the government, this has gone on for decades, thus their reported numbers are alledgedly as much as 300 million too high
young chinese are not getting married and having kids at a sustainable rate, so they have a huge work force problem. their population is aging at a staggering rate due to poor air and drinking water quality
