Possibly. She's still the Director of National Intelligence, however, and that gives her access to not only the President but also the most protected secrets in the world. She may never speak to Donald Trump again but that wouldn't change her giving her Russian benefactors Top Secret Information.

According to the British military intelligence, the Russians lost 27 soldiers to every 1 Ukrainians soldier while failing to take Kupiansk:

Financial Times: Russians lose soldiers at a 27:1 ratio.

But hey, here's another legitimate source some of ya'll can ignore.

Apparently some of those map updates ya'll are sharing aren't believed to be as accurate as one might suspect, and I don't mean in a "Russia is actually winning' type of way. Pro-Russian Z-bloggers are openly laughing at them....

But of course, the Institute for the Study of War isn't reliable.

Ukraine Ran Sting on U.S. Intel to Catch Russia Leaks

Normally, official denials = confirmation, but in this case the original French report is less than four paragraphs with no verifiable sources or proof. The Ukrainian GUR claim the report is sourced to a Russian bot operation.

I will say however that these kinds of false information tests are common not only between allied intelligence organizations, but internally as well.

Let's wait and see if this report has legs or it just dies without further support.

Ukrainian forces killed 27 times as many Russians as they lost when they fought to regain the key city of Kupiansk, according to an intelligence assessment provided TO the British military.

Who provided the source to the British who then provided it to the Financial Times?

Ukraine?

That's the legitimate source?

They are complete oblivious to the term "conflict of interest".

They are typically sharing stuff as honest as the Russian Twitter BSers, only in a flavor they like to consume and wrapped up in a professional looking bow.

Ukraine is sending drones to kill Russian teams when they infiltrate, not their actual soldiers. Thus, it actually makes sense.

FT: Europeans plan to talk to Trump in Davos about Greenland instead of Ukraine

Iryna Kutielieva, VALENTYNA ROMANENKO — 19 January, 14:29

EU leaders and delegations who are set to meet US President Donald Trump or his representatives on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, are preparing to shift their focus away from Ukraine towards Greenland and the announcement of new US tariffs.

Source: European Pravda, citing the Financial Times

Details: EU leaders had been preparing to spend this week in Davos persuading Trump to provide security guarantees for post-war Ukraine. Instead, they have woken up to the question of whether his promises can be trusted at all.

The storm surrounding Trump's desire to take control of Greenland has escalated from a bilateral dispute into what the article describes as the most serious threat to NATO in decades and the deepest rift in transatlantic relations.

A European diplomat said that EU leaders and their delegations due to meet Trump and US officials in Davos are tearing up their notes and replacing them with what the source described as a carrot-and-stick approach – outlining how Brussels could respond to Trump's tariffs alongside proposals for de-escalation.

The diplomat said it was unclear how anyone could sit down at the negotiating table with Trump and discuss his security guarantees for Ukraine, adding that he could not be trusted unless reality itself were "switched off".

EU leaders will convene an emergency summit later this week, provisionally scheduled for Thursday 22 January, following meetings with Trump in Davos.

In addition, according to the media outlet, a meeting of national security advisers from Western countries has already taken place in Davos. Although it was initially convened to discuss Ukraine, the focus ultimately shifted to Greenland.

No one is going to get accurate numbers from either side until this is over. There is no incentive for either side to release those and huge incentives for both sides to lie about both their numbers and the opposition's numbers.
