I would imagine the pace will be higher compared to other winter seasons, but we will see. They are also fighting in more dense areas, so the pace will naturally be slower whether it's winter or not (but the gains more notable).

ISW is a pro-Ukraine advocacy group. So they say things like no “confirmed advances” while reporting a Russian “infiltration event” on 1/14 on the map I posted. That way, Russia isn’t “advancing.” But it is. That’s why you shouldnt trust the narratives ISW puts out, but you can somewhat trust their maps because they can’t totally destroy their credibility by lying on the maps and embarrassingly having to backtrack.

I didn’t know that, we can only use ISW as a source when it suits your agenda.
And I wouldn’t call an infiltration event as advancing, but that’s me.

I literally just like maps and find them interesting. It’s not my fault the Russians are the ones moving the lines. My only agenda is the truth, which I understand is oftentimes heavily obscured by the fog of war. I literally post ISW and Rybar maps. I truly do not give two shits who “wins.” I find the whole thing interesting which is why I post.
I do find boomer Ukraine cheerleaders obnoxious which is why some of my posts may feel borderline trolling but I’m not “anti Ukraine.” I am just pro maps and pro truth. So that is my “agenda.” You can go back to your usual retard poasting now.

I have said, and continue to believe, that Russia will take the Donbas militarily. I believe that is what IS GOING to happen. That is not what I WANT to happen. I simply do not give a shite either way about the territorial integrity of the 1992 border of Ukraine. Not my war. Not yours either. Just find it interesting and enjoy the intellectual exercise of studying it. That is my “agenda.”

Certainly an infiltration event can eventually lead to an advance, but we know that every infiltration event doesn’t result in an advance.
