This is fair.
Russia's tankers are anything but gone, but they are now firmly in the Ukraine's crosshairs and it's now open season on them.
Satellite photos say differently. they are not completely gone but no where near over 10,000 like in 2022. What remains is pretty much scrap as any useful part has been robbed to repair existing tanks. Russia's T-14 Armata hasn't seen a battlefield yet and less than 20 have been produced.
What Russia actually lacks most of all, is the ability for air dominance to provide cover for its tanks. Drones are nothing more than a poor man's airpower but still not a substitute for it. It' once vaunted air defense is no longer feared by anyone.
A tank army behind a massive rolling artillery fire is what the Soviet/Russian army was designed to do on the plains of Europe. Russia hasn't even reached open ground to use combined arms operations, which they obviously never actually possessed even against a lesser armed foe like Ukraine

I wonder if Witkoff or Kushner got bored and absentmindedly got on their phones on the guest wi fi (again...)?

Russia continues to advance inside the fortress city Kostyantynivka. This is very significant and I think not being discussed very much for reasons that I don’t understand.

Sure. Let's talk about this.
Take a look at the map you posted. Notice, specifically, the measurement of '5km' that shows the rate of the Russian 'advance.' Based on this map the Russians were able to advance, overall, less than 1km in a day. (We can haggle and call it 1km, but, yeah.....) Granted, there is a gap they were able to fill and bring the front line up to a more consistent but overall I could walk in 10 minutes the length of the advance they've taken in a day and killed possibly 2k more people.
Notice also the 'zoom out' map, the one that shows the bigger picture. Notice how there's still an area of terrain the Ukrainians took back 3 years ago the Russians still haven't retaken? And that during the entire war the Russians have driven about 100-120km, or about 50-60 miles into the Ukraine? Again, over a span of almost 4 years? This is why estimates have the Russians taking over the Ukraine sometime in the TWENTY FOURTH CENTURY.
So, yeah, let's get back to talking about how great the Russian economy is doing, or how soon peace is coming...

If TACO gets his way, not a dime of this money would go to Ukraine without the Trump mafia taking 50% off the top. They are petrified about the EU taking this money out from under them.
quote:
Well well, what a surprise. The U.S. is lobbying EU nations to block a proposed €90B loan to Ukraine backed by frozen Russian assets. Washington argues the funds should be preserved for postwar peace deals with Moscow and not used to extend the conflict. Germany and most EU leaders reject this, calling it a European decision and vowing the money will go to Ukraine. Belgium and Hungary remain obstacles, but Berlin is pressuring Brussels to approve the plan before the next EU summit.

The new U.S. National Security Strategy signals a major shift: a negotiated end to the war in Ukraine is now a top priority, along with restoring strategic balance with Russia. NATO is urged to shed its image as an ever-expanding alliance, and Europe is expected to take full charge of its own defense. Under the Hague Commitment, all NATO members are to spend 5% of GDP on military needs. Washington also criticizes several EU governments for undermining democratic standards and stalling peace efforts.

Straight out of the Ru playbook - accuse your opponent of the crimes you yourself commit. Makes you wonder who actually wrote this.
A complete waste of everyone's time. This is the TACO White House.

A drone strike hit the Grozny City complex early this morning, blowing out the facade of several upper floors in a tower that hosts key Chechen government offices. The blast occurred just down the road from Kadyrov’s palace. Russian channels blame intercepted UAVs, but the damage suggests a direct hit.
Damn, this shite in Grozny is becoming a regular thing - and something that can't be hidden from the public there. What do they say about political weakness in places like Chechnia?

Both a port and a gas terminal. Vlad, where that's vaunted air defense?

Not any cryogenic tanks there for it to be any sort of gases terminal that I can see. The water depth is only 3-5 meters so only tiny ships go there.

Taco Friday???
You fools have more allegiance to Ukraine and those socialists in Europe than you do to your own nation.

Weird that Ukraine can't gain air superiority itself then

Maybe because they tried that in 2022-2023 and found out it doesn't work anymore?
This war is completely changing the way we look at modern warfare and you're over here wondering why Russia isn't rolling tanks across the plains of Europe
Maybe they can use some of their donkeys for a cavalry charge.

Your post actually doesn’t address Kostyantynivka at all. Do you understand the significance of the city in Ukraine’s defense of Donetsk? All you want to do is cheerlead Ukraine not have a real discussion. Which is fine I don’t actually give a shite I just feel compelled to call you out on it because of your arrogant attitude.

Huh?
Look at the two militaries and it’s a wonder that Ukraine is still punching away. Most had guessed like in the Iraq wars where the US dominated the air, Russia would do the same to Ukraine, but that hasn’t been the case.
But maybe if the West wasn’t slow rolling planes Ukraine could do even better.

I’m wondering why it took hundreds of tank losses and hundreds of thousands of men killed for Russia to figure that out.
While the drone emergence is certainly a huge factor in the war, the complete failure of the Russian military is the most stunning revelation of all. I was expecting a rout similar to what we did to Iraq, but instead we’ve got a long, drawn out war closer to WWI action.

True, but it does illustrate the lack of progress Russia has made over the last three years.

What was confusing about my comment?
If Russia's air defense sucks, you'd think Ukraine would have air superiority.... right?
And yet neither side can get it.

Yes, Ukraine has done a great job. There is your virtue signalling for this hour.

Because they are even more stupid than the Ukrainians, who are pretty stupid themselves
