quote:

The city sits on the Southeastern Railway, which connects western Russia with the Urals and Siberia, the Caucasus and Ukraine, and the M4 highway (Moscow–Voronezh–Rostov-on-Don–Novorossiysk).

quote:

Preliminary analysis indicates three missiles hit the newly built energy block of Voronezh TPP-1. Two struck the boiler building, damaging steam generators and turbines linked to LM6000 gas modules. Another pierced the roof, likely hitting the turbine hall. The strike caused a drop in power and heat supply across the city. This was one of the region’s most modern power units, finished in 2019.

quote:

Strike drones attacked the thermal power plant in the city of Voronezh on the night of November 9, resulting in power outages in several areas of the city.

At the time of the attack, powerful explosions were heard in the city, as reported by local residents. According to published photos and videos, the strike location was identified as the Voronezh TPP-1 (Thermal Power Plant-1).
quote:

Voronezh TPP-1's installed electric capacity is 378.3 MW, its thermal capacity is 1,389.3 Gcal/h, and it employs around 430 people.

It is the largest thermal power plant in the city, supplying heat to four districts – Levoberezhny, Zheleznodorozhny, Leninsky, and Central – as well as to more than a thousand enterprises, including the Voronezhsintezkauchuk plant.

[ JSC "Voronezhsintezskauchukuk" is one of the largest producers of rubbers and thermoellasts in Russia. In the corporate structure of Sibur, Voronezhsintezcumuchuk is part of the directorate of plastics, elastomers and organic synthesis. The main products of the enterprise are synthetic rubbers, obtained by different methods of polymerization (solar and emulsion), and thermoellasts. The largest consumers of the plant's products are tire manufacturers - Continental, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Nokian. In the Black Earth region, there are no large consumers of VSK, small volumes are supplied to the Lipetsk plant Yokohama, OJSC "Kurskrezinotechnics", the Voronezh Pirelli site.]

Meanwhile, official authorities, represented by Alexander Gusev, the governor of the Voronezh region, confirmed that several drones had been shot down over the city and that a fire had broken out at one of the “utility facilities,” which was later extinguished. According to him, “for technological safety reasons,” the electricity supply was temporarily suspended. [Oh yeah.. ]

Militarnyi previously reported that early in the morning on November 6, the Kostroma Power Station – the third-largest thermal power plant in Russia – was hit.
quote:

On the night of 27 October 2024, during the Russo-Ukrainian War, Ukraine launched a drone attack on two distilleries in Voronezh, distilleries that make rocket and aviation fuel and explosives.

Kazan is 210km east of the Yelabuga drone factory within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan.

Getting closer and closer.

The Federal Tax Service has started using AI to monitor the social media of Russians who post photos of travels, expensive purchases, and other signs of a "luxurious life," warned Vadim Zaripov, partner at "MEF Legal."

If the lifestyle does not match official income, such Russians will be called in for an interview. If the explanations given in the office are unconvincing, a thorough audit will be conducted.

At risk are people with active movement of funds in their accounts without official employment, entrepreneurs working without business registration, as well as property owners who rent out their property without declaring income, and those who undervalue prices when selling assets.

Why are we laughing...? That new friend you just picked up on your Instagram account...? 'Irwin Roger Smith'?

No the alarming issue is the AWOLs have nearly quadrupled.

And no they are not just going home to visit the wife. If they were they would have been picked up already and brought back.

Between the AWOLs, the wounded dead and captured....its no wonder they are losing such vitally important real estate. They simply dont have the men to hold it, and the ones still there realize it.

You are confusing AWOL and desertion

On actual leave return day late is AWOL. Getting drunk and late is AWOL

Shouldn't you be mining the asphalt pits?

After the latest attack:

Most of Ukraine is suffering blackouts of 8 to 16 hours per day.

They have lost half of their natural gas production.

But hey we blew up some stuff in Russia.....

It has been reported that Tussia has really been pushing out the propaganda.

But yes, Russia is still inching Westwsrd. Pokrovsk after a year and three months is on the brink. What happens next who knows, but the pattern hasn’t changed much since thr Ukrainian gambit in Kursk.

Russia no longer has the tank army after finally reaching open countryside without all the hills and tree lines.

Ukrainian forces struck the “Hvardiiska” oil depot in occupied Crimea again. Four explosions were reported in the settlement north of Simferopol, igniting a storage tank. This follows a special forces strike earlier in the week that destroyed another tank and hit two fuel trains mid-transfer.

In logistics, this is what you call the Water Hammer Effect. Too much delivery in, not enough delivery out. Deliveries stack up. When your deliveries are high explosives... well, take notes. If you can find a pencil.

So you're saying the Ukraine front is collapsing?

With all the critical towns and logistics hubs Ukraine has lost, and the huge shortage of men, and the millions of casualties, and all the desertions, and the poor morale, and the corrupt regime in Kiev, and the kidnappings, and the protests in the streets. And no power. And no heat. And no natural gas. And the terrible economy. And Russia's general military, economic, social, political, and technological advantage.

When would you say Russia should finally win this thing?

I mean. It has to be soon, right?

Kupyansk looks like it was taken back by Ukraine with lots of Russians surrendering. We'll see if true or not in a day or two

Russia appears to be catching their breath and are trying to reinforce their infiltration teams in Pokrovsk.

quote:

Key Takeaways Russian and Ukrainian forces continue interdiction campaigns in the Pokrovsk direction as the rate of Russian advances in and around Pokrovsk remains temporarily decreased.
Russian forces are successfully interdicting Ukrainian logistics into Myrnohrad (east of Pokrovsk) as part of efforts to collapse Ukrainian defenses in the town.
The ongoing US government shutdown is reportedly affecting US weapons exports to NATO allies and Ukraine.
European officials continue to report and respond to aerial incursions in European airspace. Ukrainian forces advanced in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area. Russian forces advanced near Kupyansk, Siversk, and Hulyaipole.

There is footage claiming to be of the area with reportedly dead Russians all over the ground. I'm not going to post any of this until confirmed.
