How come when a pro Ukraine post is made you jump right in, you challenge the poster, and you challenge the poster all because it doesn’t fit your opinion; however, when Barton posts some of his BS like 30 Ukes are killed for every 1 Russian you never challenge him?
I actually have challenged him on that particular point before. You should have used a different example, because you do have a point that I am not an equal opportunity debater in this thread.
Firstly, I would ask you why are opposing opinions so triggering?
Secondly, I think y'all can be too hard on some of Barron's posts. Sometimes he legitimately does use stuff from solid sources.
But as for the other Russian slop, its essentially the same reason that I would reply to a NYT article and not a National Enquirer one. I've stated numerous times that I don't find the characters he regularly posts from X compelling or credible.
I personally have a few sources for news that I like and continually go back to them. I think every post I've shared in the past week either came from someone with the Blackbird group like Helin or it was someone he retweeted. All of which are very pro-Ukraine.

A lot of people thought Putin would have a cake walk. I didn't think so after looking at the size of the Ukraine military, existing reserves and other forces that could be activated.

Putin's Pre-Invasion Expectations for the Ukraine War Vladimir Putin has never publicly stated an explicit timeline for the duration of Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine, which began with a full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. However, extensive analysis by Western intelligence agencies, think tanks, and military experts—based on Russia's pre-invasion planning, troop deployments, and logistical preparations—indicates that Putin and his inner circle anticipated a rapid victory lasting 3 to 10 days. This projection assumed minimal Ukrainian resistance, a swift decapitation of the Ukrainian government (including the arrest or killing of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy), and a quick collapse of Ukrainian forces, leading to regime change and de facto Russian control.

They really aren't. Every single one is from the U.K. which are the biggest liars when it comes to propaganda. Those are the same rags that said Putin had Cancer and only had months to live

Them boys can't even do training exercises without getting killed. They best stay far away from the front lines

Curious that! It's like the MSM after they get their dem talking points. The proof is overwhelming.

Russian forces have once again been geolocated near the settlement of Zoloty Kolodiaz, Dobropillia flank.
Satelite images indicate this is recent, not an old geolocation.
A few days ago, multiple Ukranian channels reported from this area stating the initiative had transferred back into the Russians' favor. The Ukranian reinforcements that arrived back in August look to have been exhausted.
These are most likely DRGs. However, the fact they are able to operate this deep suggests that their is no major encirclement of Russian forces in this area."

AT least some Russian troops had dress uniforms in their belongings for a parade in Kyiv. That is like no more than a week operation to me

Most likely Putin was thinking of the times the Soviet Union took over nearby Eastern European countries in only a matter of days, such as the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968. Certainly, his plan of invasion of Ukraine mirrored a lot of that invasion.
Not really. More like "Russia can take over all of the Ukraine and they will still lose due to overwhelming insurgency that will happen" phase.
Honestly, the NYT reporters are among the best in the world, and I absolutely believe that simple, straightforward bribery of the right people would result in finding out everything one would need to know about anything.

We have now reached the "Ukraine can surrender and still win" phase of the spin zone

How did they get their hands on detailed war plans? Some guy on the front line just had the entire battleplan? Do you think Russia would share that kind of info with even an officer on the front?

It's becoming clear they are coming up with every creative way to not have to admit they're wrong. "Yeah, I'm a moron who believed Ukraine can win for 3 years, but at least Russia paid a lot for it, tee-hee."
Meanwhile Ukraine is permanently destroyed as a country. Given their corruption and mass migration, they'll never be able to even start rebuilding, assuming someone will give them money for it. They're only funded up to the point of them stopping catching Ukrainian fodder. Once they're done sending bodies out to the frontline, they lose their usefulness.
