It should be noted that no gas was flowing through the pipelines. The compressors in Russia had crashed due lack of pretreatment of natural gas to remove hydrates.

“Flowing”

That explosion was one of the largest single releases of methane in recorded history. Over 450,000 tonnes of gas.

You act like the pipe was empty. fricking moron

Any attack only let Gazprom off of the hook from having to buy LNG to replace the lost supply.

You were still calling this a Sy Hersh conspiracy theory as recently as a month or two ago.

Surprised there have been no major changes to the maps this week. Except for some Ukrainian drone strikes.

It remained under pressure but no gas was flowing. Do you know what a valve is, especially a check valve? Operating pressure was 220 bar or 3190 psig. You are phucking clueless. I think so, on just about everything.

This leads me to believe that the breakthrough reported was a nothing burger.

A slight one did occured to the north of Rodynsk but seems like Ukraine was able to stop it before it became anything major

My definition of a breakthrough is a gap being created in the defensive line allowing large amounts of attackers to break through the gap to advance behind enemy lines into undefended areas and then hold onto to those areas and gain a large tactical advantage.

This type of breakthrough has been expected all season; yet even though thousands of troops have been killed it hasn’t happened yet even though Ukraine is reported to be short of troops.

More AI googling dumbassery from the resident dumbass.

Operating pressure at the site Ukraine blew the pipeline was around 1,400 psi. Which is normal. You have zero clue about pressure drop between compression. Your response is the first thing that pops up on AI Google

Nope. Penrod corrected me in Sept 2022 when it happened. He has built compressor stations.

Once again, you are clueless and 100% bullshitter.

You probably could have qualified for Pedo Ritter's Iraq WMD inspection team who couldn't tell the difference between a pump from a valve when they trained in Hainesport, NH for equipment identification.

FWIW, natural gas pipelines are usually rated for 1440 psig Maximum Allowable Working Pressure but operated at 1200 psig or less. Compressor stations are not so far apart as 800 miles.

It would behoove you, and VolSquat to stop commenting and showing the world how ignorant you are. While the Politards will cheer you, sane normal people will laugh at your stupidity

I don't think Putin will give his Ok for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. All parties know this brain fart will be DOA.

Ukrainians get some. If you listen carefully, you can hear Orban squealing all the way from Budapest. Sounds good.

Looks a lot like the German Taurus. The similarity is not coincidental. But even though this is piston engine powered, it has triple the range and payload of the Taurus.

Hurry Sundown.

A New Ukrainian Long-Range Drone, the FP-1, Has Been Unveiled The newly presented, FP-1, is a Ukrainian long-range kamikaze drone with a claimed range of up to 1,600 km and a warhead capacity of up to 120 kg.

What makes it especially notable is the absence of landing gear and the use of a rocket booster for launch — a design choice that could significantly simplify launch operations compared to other systems like the well known AN-198 'Liutyi'
