We have always cared regardless as to who has made the claim. Problem is, he did not claim this award. Some overzealous and ill informed White House staffer did. But keep up the good fight.

So now Hegseth should be held accountable for what others say and hear?

I have a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Afghanistan. I am honored to have been awarded it. But it was not for the distinction of valor in combat.

The difference in Bronze Medal and Bronze Medal for valor, is some inside baseball shite that 99.9 percent of the population has no idea about. The motivation to lie about it is nonexistent.

Stolen Valor is when the serviceman intentionally states something or wears something. Please show me proof that he has done this and not somebody on the PR team made an error. Until then this is a big nothingburger and a silly gotcha attempt.
