I'm sure you mean well, and this is more of bro advice and not an attack on you, but do you really want to vote on your feelings? I get that sometimes a change of pace can be good, but it's not worth getting the upvotes from the disloyal cocksucker Ronbots, trust me.

Yes, change of pace is good. Look how fricked up our coutry is at the moment. It's a fricking clown circus.

It’s why trump is scared of the debates

Yeah, that's what USM fans said about Mississippi State refusing to play them for so many years.

"What are y'all, chicken?!"

Jackie Sherrill: "No, we just have nothing to gain from it. You'll be a blip on our schedule to us, and meanwhile that will be the date circled on your calendar and you will bring everything you have to that one game, while we have to focus on bigger fights. You can call it 'fear' if it makes you feel important, but your taunts won't affect us and will soon be forgotten when Trump is taking the oath of office in 2025."

Paraphrasing, of course.

That’s great. Except where you dig into who Desantis really is, then it gets murky. I’m glad we have over a year to sort it all out.

I am also worried that if TRUMP is the nominee - it will be 24/7 non stop coverage of shite I do not give a flying frick about. I donlt know if they (the media) will do that to DeSantis

Of course they will. They did it to Dole, McCain, Romney etc, all who were suddenly right-wing extremists, animal abusers, war criminals, yada yada yada.

A wolf in Sheep’s clothing….. I guess you still want the old establishment in charge huh. And before you say I don’t know what I’m talking about, go look who’s backing Desantis. That was enough for me to say no thank you.

then watched DeSantis and WOW - it was just a breath of fresh air. Everything he said made sense to me. He didn't talk in circles and it was not about DeSantis, DeSantis, DeSantis - it was about TEAM, TEAM, TEAM - that really impresed me.

Screams I won’t rock the establishment boat and will continue the deep state’s status quo.

“Team”…. As a JAG officer I won’t be bucking the MIC.

Sorry, "breath of fresh air" sounds like feelings. Sorry if you didn't mean it that way.

Yes, but look at it this way: Trump didn't make it that way. Trump peeled off the rotting drywall and all the mold and termites spilled out and went apeshit. This is what you're seeing - the blood gushing from the surgical wound to excise the tumor. It needs to be finished, not just sutured and bandaged. Otherwise the cancer is not going anywhere.

The allure of DeSantis is his ability to give you Trump policies but without the drama. He has a track record to run on. I think it speaks well of him. He also manages to go on the attack but without being off putting and creating the potential to pull voters away from Biden that we desperately need to have. I think he is a very serious candidate and threat not only to Trump but the Left in all of its forms. I do not buy into him being a bought and paid for by the WEF and other globalist organizations.

Trump is who is. He’s the bull in the China shop. He’s got his track record to run on and for the most part he does well. He’s exceptional on deregulation, foreign policy and the economy (but he likes to spend money which has its downsides). Those things matter greatly to me. I’ve got kids and we own a business. I want a stable world they can grow up in and I want the business to thrive. We had that during his term. But his shortcomings were getting legislation passed and pissing off a large part of the electorate that he has to have in order to win. Those are big hurdles to get over.

I’ll vote for either one in the general. For the primary I’m officially out because I am a registered no party preference here in California and the Republican Party doesn’t allow me to participate in the primary. I had been a life long Republican up until 2016/17 when I had had enough of the Republican Party shitting on Trump and actively undermining him.

TRUMP in 2024, and Desantis 2028: the perfect scenario to save our country!

Saw a post related to this yesterday that summed up this line of thinking perfectly. Went something like this:

The voters in the swing/swing-ish states will decide the election and have basically admitted this, whether it be in focus groups or at the ballot box.

GA: The suburban voters who voted for Kemp, Raffensperger and the 6 other state-wide Republicans who won, but not Walker, are never voting for Trump.

AZ: The suburban voters who voted for Kimberly Yee and State Legislature Republicans, but not Lake and Masters, are never voting for Trump.

PA: The suburban voters who voted for Congressional and State Legislature Republicans, but not Oz and Mastriano, are never voting for Trump.

WI: The suburban voters who voted for Ron Johnson and Congressional and State Legislature Republicans, but not Tim Michels and Daniel Kelly, are never voting for Trump.

VA: The suburban voters in NOVA, Richmond, and Hampton Roads who voted for all state-wide Republicans in 2021, but not Trump in 2016 or 2020, are not going to vote for Trump in 2024.

If Trump is the nominee, so be it. But don't you haven’t been warned.

We already have this scenario. It's just not a single individual. But the members of the FBI, IRS, CIA, DOJ, and so on absolutely believe they rule this country and they'll do anything to maintain their power.

Hence, Trump.

Well then I hope he doesn’t mind Desantis running past him in every primary then.

Voters will reward people who debate. They demand that they get answers for who they are voting for.
