They never care when the entire starting lineup is black. But, boy would they care if all the starters were white.

does anyone know a rough percentage of revenue that comes directly from ticket sales? either to the league as a whole or individual teams. I'm not sure where I'd go to look for something like that

this is kind of what I was driving at. But I would imagine TV revenue outweighs ticket sales (sans blackouts)

If I was black, and played for that asshat owner, I'd probably say the same damn thing.
At least I'd say let's take a few days off as players, and let the league consider the relative value of a dried-up POS bigot vs the players fans actually pay to see.
The owner's product is dependent on talent he cannot reproduce.
