Good for them. Someone has to protect our borders, and the government is refusing to do it effectively. If people have problem with this, then they should pressure their congressman to fund a wall and pass laws that stop incentives for coming here illegally.

Yes because there's no way 10,000 people could ever cross a wall with a ladder or digging under it.

Let's think about this for a second. Do you think it's easier to stop 10,000 people from crossing a wall in a couple different spots or easier to stop 10,000 people from crossing a 1,000 mile border?

frick those landowners. Their lives are worth as much as the lives of those poor refugees that are in the caravan. So what if a few "landowners die, if it means those poor refugees can cross?

Does Texas have the castle law like we have in Alabama?

Pffft.

Alabama.

Alabama has shite gun laws. They still follow FOPA for interstate transport of non-residents without CCW reciprocity. Every time I go to Florida on vacation Im good through LA, good through MS, good through FL and I have to pull over before the Gump border and unload my firearms, put the ammo in the locked glove box and the firearm in the trunk. Cross into FL or MS and put it all back together.

frick Alabama.

frick those landowners. We're the government and we're here to save you from yourselves. Only we can save you from the boogeyman. Just give us total control of your life and your property and we'll take care of it like it was our own.

This is simple and the governments know that.

1, Take out supplies of food and water.
2, Place strategically located water, food etc. along a path back. They will follow the food and water or perish in few days perhaps a week.

PS Eliminate w/prejudice the enablers that are supplying them.

Thats not at all how most of the "right" thinks. Where do you get that from? Are you confusing them for the left? Most of the right wants more individual accountability, freedom and responsibility and smaller government. The left wants whatever makes them feel good and their leaders are mostly socialists and all professional politician, big government types.

I noticed you chose my post to point out the absurdity and ignored that of the post I responded to.

Why is that, I wonder?

There was a time when the landowners along the border would be an actual part of a govt sponsored militia (todays national guard).

Perhaps its time to go back to the country's founding.

I dont care what the other guy said. He might be an idiot. I dont know and I dont care. I was responding to your comment alone, in a vacuum or despite what youre responding to.

Defending the border is one of the few limited powers granted to the federal government. Do you disagree?

The federal gov'ts power is at 10 and has been for quite some time now. It used to be at 1. Most conservatives want to back to 1. Defending the national border is a power that falls within that 1.
