So dumb. Elon’s net worth fluctuates more in an hour than he saves by having all of these phantom low-wage workers.

post count burn. Your lack of wit may be what is holding you down, sparky.

ETA: I average about 9 posts a day. For reference that is less than half of the posts you have in this single thread. you’re not very bright.

One player isn’t a big deal, you’re making weird assumptions. Also you never answered my question. Would you be OK if the majority of LSU’s sports department got replaced by foreigners

I have zero problems with foreigners coming into the US legally. BTW - have you seen the LSU T&F team makeup???? Mostly foreign.

You make a great point though … one isn’t a big deal to you. One player on the basketball team is roughly 10% of your workforce.

Do you think there are 35,000,000 foreigners taking American jobs????

There are hundreds of people working for lsu sports department, do you understand that? Also there’s more than 10 people on a college basketball team. You’re literally making up numbers then using made up numbers in an argument. Again it’s really obvious that you’re used to arguing with your family and they pretend to let you win the argument.

I can’t argue with stupid, I have no idea what you’re talking about. My entire point is it’d bad when foreign billionaires layoff Americans and replace them with foreign workers. I can’t make the argument any simpler for you.

Only intelligent thing you’ve said.

Mind blowing that you’re trying to manipulate and make up numbers to win an argument. You must be a politician!

Arguing with you is like playing chess against a pigeon.

Your jealousy of the ultra-high net worth is palpable. To think Elon is concerned with cheaper labor over quality work is the height of ignorance. Yet here you are opining with hubris from a place of complete ignorance.

As I mentioned before, Elon’s net worth fluctuates in an hour more than he saves on the boogeyman cheap foreign workers.

You’re a complete idiot.

So you have 2 workers, one is American and the other is foreign. The American worker is better than the foreign worker and gets paid more. Why are you in favor of firing the American worker for the lower cost lower productive foreign workers?

This is not what the tweet says at all lol

What an idiot

If there’s more than enough American software engineers, and Elon doesn’t need the money, then why is he advocating so hard for almost unlimited visas?

The world’s richest man doesn’t care about profit and money. That’s about the most naive thing someone can say.

bullshite. These American companies are profitable because of American consumers. You are taking wealth from America and sending it to foreign countries while simultaneously encouraging brain drain in the US by discouraging new employees and killing the ability of Americans to gain experience.

It's the same line of simplified thinking that causes conservatives to support offshoring all of our manufacturing because it is cheaper. "It's just the best winning in a free market."

Neither is America First. Neither increases the prosperity and security of the average American.

Because some of them are more skilled. Seems pretty obvious.

I never said that, dummy. I said his net worth fluctuates more in an hour than he saves from the boogeyman foreign workers. It’s a discussion about materiality. Not caring about profit and money. It is you who is very naive.

Firing? He is creating new jobs. And merit has no nationality. Your emotional straw man needs work.

The right propaganda machine is working so well on you it’s honestly impressive. 35 million Americans are allegedly out of work (no idea if this claim is true) yet you’re ok with giving unlimited visas to foreigners. Do you hear yourself? If 35 million Americans need a job, why would you want to increase the number of visas for foreigners?

why would anyone ever think this or care about it? Pointing out that your “argument” is that of a simpleton and that you are engaging in classic liberal projection is just that.

If you have to put words in my mouth to try to make a point, it should tell you something about the quality of your “argument.” Dummy.

Oh, wow. This is his greatest faux invention since the golf cart.

Seriously, this is exactly how 90%+ of companies have hired software developers for at least 10-15 years. It's not some mind-blowing new idea, nor is it even a cool "tech company" thing. If Ol' Man Tree Stands has developers, this is how they hire them.
