Louis Gurvich replaces Villere as head of state GOP.

Its hard to see how he could be worse than Villere, but then these bandits never fail to surprise me.

I bet this is the first time a Lateesha has been interested in the internal workings of the GOP at any level, anywhere.

Roger Villere is the dipshit that got Vitter the nomination. He also ran for office at some point, which has to be the biggest conflict of interest in the history of the LA GOP.
He's also fat.
Good riddance.

Why people keep repeating this nonsense is beyond me.
David Vitter got David Vitter the nomination by persuading enough voters to vote for him. It's not Villere's fault Dardenne and Angelle couldn't win over enough people to get to the runoff. And that was after Vitter ran the worst campaign and those two were working their asses off.
Maybe, just maybe Vitter was the most qualified and best credentialed candidate to be Governor over clowns like Dardenne and Angelle who couldn't sniff Vitter's conservative and professional record.
The LA GOP couldn't and can't do anything and cannot endorse any candidate or endorse against a candidate as that would not be fair to the other candidates running as it would be either too unfair of an advantage or too detrimental of a disadvantage.

So you think making fun of blacks is the way to make the GOP look good?

This is no surprise. Gervich is a good baw.

And you think making fun of hazing legitimizes your judgements.

Louisiana GOP is a disaster.

Out of the candidates that I met, Louis seems like the guy most likely to be able to get it on track. The Jungle Primary system really dilutes the party's power to control who represents them in elections. So, they have to be able to have some kind of role in vetting candidates who put an R by their name and calling out those who do so while not upholding party values. He understands that. He also understands that despite momentum, the democrats kick the GOP's arse 6 ways to sunday in organization and involvement, especially at the local level. He has some ideas for some major reforms in how the GOP is structured and recruits candidates at the local level in order to improve the candidate stock and support at the state level.

Does TD have a tab somewhere that shows what race each poster is? Did I miss that somewhere?

I agree with you about Vitter, but fair/unfair/disadvantage hasn't been a criteria during Villere's reign. He has changed rules on the fly during presidential primaries, and while his running for Lt. Gov. in 2010 may have not broken any rules, his opponents certainly thought it was a conflict of interest and against understood protocol. He later endorsed Dardenne who won the race, and now we see where that has gotten us.
