I have had the virus, so has everyone an in my house. we've all tested positive for the antibodies... why do I need the vaccine? I have the natural antibodies which are far better.

Of course you are and so are the entities that choose to exclude you if you can't prove you are vaccinated.

I had it too and delayed getting the vaccine until there were a lot of them out there.
When you read the stats these hospitals are giving on the hospitalization numbers of vaccinated people you realize it is just silly not to get the vaccine. I got the Pfizer and had no problems with either shot.
I forget how many vaccines I had to get to go to school or even how many my kids had to get.

Whether you have a right not to get the vaccine is entirely different than whether you should get the vaccine.
It seems like a whole lot of people are conflating the two, like saying they aren't getting the vaccine simply because that's their right. Sure. I'll go ahead and put you in the moron category until you at least give a coherent basis for your decision.

I figured an a-hole response from you. Typical wanna be liberal... I have the information from the doctor and lab that I am COVID SARS 2 positive for the antibodies.
But people like you won't except that.... all this bullshite lying about unvaccinated does not take into account tens of millions like me and my family. We don't need a fricking fake antibody vaccine and the truly unvaccinated (no former infection or vaccination) is much lower than being reported. I've also been told by my and my wife's doctor, there is zero reason to get the vaccine while you have the antibodies.

Using the CDC's own numbers from the October 2019- April 2020 winter flu season, there were:
39,000,000 - 56,000,000 Cases
410,000 - 740,000 Hospitalizations
24,000 - 62,000 Deaths

From what I've gathered, this is pretty typical. There is also a Flu Vaccine available.
Given these numbers, why was this past year the first time in my life time (51) I was required to put a mask on to do basic things? If it saves one life, after all...why did those thousands upon thousands of lives in the past which died from the flu not matter? And given a Flu Vaccine has been available, why has there not been harassment like this from the government and private business to ensure that every American gets it each year?
Don't tell me the numbers are more with Covid, because that only belittles the upwards of 62,000 people who die each year from the flu, and I can assure to their families they mattered.
So...why all the hub bub now?

As I understand it, the mRNA vaccines cause some of our cells to produce the covid spike, but only the covid spike which then triggers an immune response. There is a lot more to a virus than just the spike so there is at least a good chance that your immune system may have a wider spectrum of immunity and more factors to trigger a response.
