The problem is - the defense gained very little. Any losses are unforced errors.

If you wanna draw a parallel, he’s remaining as cool under pressure here as he did under attack. That may be part of the strategy, to let him feel the heat and maintain his composure. In both instances he’s essentially fighting for him life.

The defense better have a hell of a re-direct because right now they are taking some body shots. I do not understand their tactics here. I have counted at least 4 times I would have objected.

Seems like the ADA is trying to paint Kyle as out there looking for trouble and he found it. Claiming to be something he isn't (EMT), playing police etc. . . not his job to secure the businesses and put out fires.
I wish the defense would object much more often as well. With the firefighting question, I would have said if my neighbor's house is on fire and I can throw some water on it to get it out I would do that then call the FD. Not every fire requires the fire department, and when there is a high chance the FD won't reply, you do what you can.
