Maybe defense thinks by not objecting this will go faster, but it won't. He's going to go until he's pushed.

I would be objecting A LOT this afternoon, for sure.

Is it possible the lack of objections is so that there's no question Kyle was fully grilled and he's innocent?

The danger is, at a certain point, if you don't object, you lose the issues on appeal - "slam dunk" or no "slam dunk" as there is no idea what this jury will do.
