Rittenhouse was 17 years old when he made the short trip from his home in Antioch, Illinois, to Kenosha on the night of Aug. 25, 2020, in response to a call from a Kenosha militia

Is this true? I swear I remember reading he was there as a lifeguard during the day, cleaned up some graffiti, then was asked to help protect a mechanic shop.

Assumptions made with abdunant ignorance on the topic of armed self-defence. Typical of you.

If anyone is influenced by this expert testimony is an idiot. If you know anything about this case you should already have known that it was cut and dry self defense.

If the 'expert' influenced you you have severe problems. Isn't everyone with a brain able to figure out when you are being threatened???

This has to be a joke. Right? You can’t be this ignorant.

You seem to be very trustful when it comes to the behavior of a violent mob. I myself wouldn't assume they would do the right thing; child molesters (one of those killed) tend to always let you down, when it comes to that....

Anyway, parachutes change your confidence and mentality, also.

Would he have been better off begging them for his life- or using the tool he had to save himself, in that moment?

Except Rittenhouse retreated multiple times, and only shot when threated with personal harm, or with losing the weapon to one of those threatening him.

This is uncontested as there is video showing this.

He did not walk into the riots with the stock on his shoulder and guns blazing.

At least one of the deceased morons would still be alive had he not made the "brilliant" decision to play "Skateboard VS AR-15".

Hell of a way to be reminded that GTA is just a video game, and not an actual training tool...

They'd all be alive if they didn't think it was a good idea to attack a scared kid with an AR15.

2nd round- He didn't use deadly force until after he was kicked in the head, hit with a skateboard, wrestled for his weapon, and had a gun pulled on him. The fact that he was arrested shows how evil our country is today. If he goes to jail I'd say the great experiment is over. The notion of self-defense simply would cease to exist.

Of all of the clown world bullshite that has happened in the last couple of years, his arrest is one of the backwards-assed things that bothers me the most.

This is spot on. It's like I'm taking crazy pills with how obvious the self defense seems to be here.

Well fortunately your feels don't dictate whether or not he is found guilty.

Feels dictated it for Chauvin. The jurors in his trial were intimidated into a guilty verdict by Maxine Waters. I wouldn't be at all shocked if that happens again.

He was. It's the media's way of putting the narrative out there that Kyle left his home that day thirsting for blood.

This has been the play for years now.

Rit is not the first to be charged with murder in an obvious self defense situation.

The pedophile couldn’t help himself. That’s what started all of this. Who are people for or against? You really want to blame the 17 year old doing community service or the adult pedophile literally starting a dumpster fire and pushing it into a gas station.

The mental gymnastics the left has to pull to make their narrative work is astonishing.

Side with pedophile. It will just expose the madness.

This case is only going on because of a dirty prosecutor and a dirty judge.

You don't consider looting and setting fire to private property to be violent behavior? Have you seen the videos? The bald headed future corpse, for example was CLEARLY looking for a fight- and got one. There is ample video of that prick setting the table for his own funeral. No sympathy here.
