Very anti-Trump. Surprised many aren't wishing for his death on here.
I was anti-Trump from late-2015 through August 2016. I have come around. Wasn't Krauthammer rather silent the last 10 months? (per his own statement, too)

He was also a true disciple of the game of baseball…

I always liked him when he was on Fox News. Very intelligent man. Sucks whats going to kill him after what he's survived as a young man. God Speed CK.

That's when he had his surgery. He actually thought he would be returning to FOX fairly soon.

That was my point... do we know how anti-Trump he was, given his (mostly) absence from commentary for nearly a year?

His brand of conservatism was hard earned through life experiences. He was a liberal at one time.
He was actually a speechwriter for Mondale.
He never lived that down.
A great intellect with a wicked sense of humor. He is one of the famous I would have loved to meet.
>>>ETA He was of the group that became disgusted with the Democrat Party's embrace of the USSR and its surrogate states. They moved to the GOP.

I don't have a single problem with anyone being Anti Trump. It's just the insane way every single one of them go about doing it now. There is little to no intellectualism in it. No return of better ideas. It's basically just "frick Trump, Impeach 45......I'm reclaiming My Time, He's a bigot, Racist, etc." There is no thought in it. It's based on emotion. I have no respect for that.
People like Krauthammer, even though they might loath the POTUS, are at least well thought out, intellectual, and carry themselves with class and self respect.

I'm just guessing, but I think he would have been like Rich Lowery. Criticize him when he thought he was wrong, praise him, when he agreed with him.

One of the few guys in journalism that is a straight shooter.
I will miss him.
I will miss him.

The right needs more Krauthammers and George Wills and fewer Trumps.
Fewer Trumps and more Krauthammers and Wills allowed socialism to rise in this country to what we see today.
No, we don't need more Krauthammers and Wills. We need men of action, like Trump. Men that aren't afraid of hurting peoples feelings to do the right thing and get the job done.
CK will be missed, but the days of rolling over and giving in to liberalism should disappear and never return.

You are an idiot. Your characterization has nothing to do with Krauthammer. No one, save for perhaps Hannity and a few other blowhards, spoke more consistently derisively about Obama and his thugs than Krauthammer.

Coming from you that makes me smile.
I'm well versed in Krauthammers politics and writings, so I don't need lesson from a cuck such as yourself.

He led an amazing life and accomplished so much, especially suffering an injury that would have defeated so many.
Brilliant mind, independent thinker and a class act. He was always. Always thoughtful and polite while making a point. He never has to resort to insults, even when issuing criticism.
This is so sad to me. He will be missed.

My fondest memories of him were when he was on with O'Reilly. Bill would interrupt him mid sentence because the spotlight always has to be on Bill.
Charles would give him the stare of death and then restart his thought over Bill.

is there any doubt that CK has the most badass last name ever?

He was incredibly frail. But unbelievably brave. Survived a broken neck, paralyzed from the neck down, and had his medical text books projected onto the ceiling of his hospital room ceiling, so he could study
That is some inspiring stuff right there.
Also, say I live in a cave, but I had no idea he was quadriplegic. Not that it matters, nor did it. But it goes to show how the media can do a great job of keeping things out of the public eye when they try. (Similar to FDR, and.....Hillary’s frail health)
