We really need to pray that Trump gets Roberts and/or the "wise" Latina. Thomas and Alito are going to be huge losers but we need to replace one of the 3 lefties and Roberts real bad. I know Roberts is a very long shot but would be nice.
And don't forget how appeasing to the rino scum continues to keep this nation down.

In the Senate vote to confirm Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, 47 Republican senators voted against her confirmation, while 3 Republican senators—Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney—voted in favor. The final vote count was 53 in favor and 47 against her confirmation.

Amen brutha, but let's drop saying that you are sorry about having an opinion. No reason to be.

She's not totally wrong, though. Textualists lose historical context. Case in point is the 14th amendment. The natural born citizen clause was solely meant to give slaves citizenship, not enable people to jump the border and have kids.
Well maybe laws and amendments should be written in plain explicit language. That way someone cant change things later.
If they had written into the 14th amendment that any former slaves in the united were considered citizens. Hell even add dates, any slave living in the USA from XX\XX\XXXX to the day of ratification is covered.
But politicians are dumbasses. Imagine if the 2nd amendment said:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. This right is granted to citizens by GOD and cannot be taken away by anyone except GOD. "Arms" shall include any weapon that uses a projectile to travel to an intended target. This includes any and all components needed to make such a weapon. Anything that attaches to or aids in the use of the weapon shall be included in these rights.

But our textualists have ruled that the 14th amendment gives anyone in the world citizenship who can pop out a kid on U.S. soil. This clearly was not the intent when it was written in the 1860's. That's why strict textualism is dumb.
You may not be totally wrong but I will wait until SCOTUS reviews Wong Kim in today's issues before agreeing 100%

She is exactly what the left wanted. Disappointing but not a surprise.

Nothing remotely comparable to when they gain control of the presidency, both houses and the Supreme Court. Just look at how much the SC, albeit flawed, is currently saving us from the Marxist loon lower court judges. That would be out the door. If things haven’t erupted by then, they will when we have 5 like her and The Wise Latina.

I'm a textualist and your analysis is correct
That's why it's funny to me when all those on here saying WKA should be overruled (to rescind birthright citizenship) use the legal analysis she promoted in the ruling in OP.

So the left doesn't know what a "woman" or "is" is. Can't wait for them to try to figure out what a turducken is.

Our judicial system was never intended to account for political activists masquerading as judges.
It’s not sustainable.
