Not only is there different sects of Islam, but there is a wide disparity of how the text of Islam is interpreted among those factions. Any one group could say to the other that they aren't real Islam. This whole arguement is a straw man.

Just want to point out, just as there are many different sects of christianity, there are just as many of islam.

ISIL is following real Islam. They are Sunnis. This is how Sunnis roll. Death to infidels is real for them. Sadly, Sunnis are the largest faction of Islam. This isn't good at all but we'll just continue to be tolerant of ideas.
The truth no one wants to admit is that these people want to put a knife to my throat, my kids throats and every other Western, Christian throat.
We wouldn't even be asked to pay their "Christian tax" to stay alive. It's death or nothing.
I think some are fine with them getting their Caliphate and letting them have a bomb. I mean, surely they aren't crazy enough to use it right. I mean, they care about mutual destruction like the Russians. They don't really want to die and grab up their virgins do they.
