Kennedy was often derided and for good reason at times
But hard to argue with being the deciding vote in a slate of liberal tear inducing decisions before timing his resignation to play well with a mid term election.

Republicans took the final step. Dems got rid of the "actual " filibuster and used the nuclear option on everything but Supreme Court which they didn't need to do because Republicans don't 100% vote to obstruct.

Agreed, Trump needs to move ASAP so he can point the finger back at the Dims during the final campaign stretch for the midterms...., he can show how the Dims are only good at obstruction.
