Thx BH for that. Glad to hear it.

At your airline, do y'all train classes of aspiring FOs together? If so, do you think any of those classes have more women than men?

You mean the upside down airplane, on fire, with nearly 70 people on board says nothing about her competence? You really, really shouldn't be mentioning the credibility of others, since everyone here knows you have none at all.

What was the gender of the helicopter pilot that killed 67 in DC?

He does training and he cannot fail a black or female. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Delta is non union unlike the other Airlines. I think we all know DEI is legal discrimination. Delta should be sued till they go bankrupt

So, again, what do you see in that rating information which would lead you to opine that she is "incompetent?"

Welcome back, Hankabitch. Nothing in the ratings information suggests incompetence, but the upside down aircraft practically screams it, don’t you think?

You could be the shittiest Pilot in the entire universe, and as long as you have the requisite flight hours, you meet the requirements for PIC.

It’s wholly irrelevant to this conversation, except as it pertains to her inexperience. Nothing more.

says absolutely nothing about her technical competence at the yoke of the aircraft.

Did this?

Honesty. I like it.

Screams? Not remotely.

Of course, pilot error is always ONE possible explanation for a plane crash. At this point, I've seen nothing to suggest that it is a more likely cause than any other. I look forward to seeing the results of the official investigation.

But she is a WOMAN !!!!! Reeeeeeee!!!!

given the difficult circumstances of this landing, her experience seems to be relevant

Yep, but that limitation on her ATP certificate isn’t. Low time pilots land in challenging conditions every day.

Cute chick. Maybe the pilot thought he had a better chance to score by allowing to land it.

This is funny, but every real man knows that it is absolutely true.

I have watched it several times, and (again) I see nothing in the video to suggest pilot error as a more-likely cause of the accident than any other.

If you see anything substantive, you should probably send your thoughts to the Canadian equivalent of the FAA and NTSB. I am sure that they would treasure your input.

No? How many other planes landed right side up at the same airport that day? Were there any others which ended up on their roof? Hell, I’ve watched enough “Air Disasters” to know you can’t come in like you are falling out of the sky. Am I the only one without a pilot’s license that knows you don’t try landing when you don’t have your shite together? I think not.

so you saw the non-existent flare before touch down which destroyed the gear. Totally normal and definitely not pilot error. Ok

Are you suggesting that rate of descent was okay, or are you suggesting the pilot wasn’t aware of the rate of descent, or are you suggesting they didn’t recognize the rate of descent fast enough to not knock a hole in the ground when they hit?

I think pilot error will likely be the biggest contributing factor other than weather.

I saw the entire video, yes.

If anything, the rate of descent (combined with lack of significant landing flare) suggests some sort of mechanical failure to me.

Unlike you, however, I am not pre-judging based upon far-from-complete data.
