Yeah, I don't know the details of what MAGA is trying to sell in Georgia but there aren't many buyers.

Yet, in every neighboring state, including Florida, it seems to “sell” quite well. It’s strange what’s going on there to me.

Yeah thats why he lost in 16

2016 was 8 years ago. Winning in 2016 doesn't equal winning in 2020 or much less 2024. Things change.

You think Trump won California

That is how delusional you are. Trump is not well liked in Georgia for myriad of reasons. Trump has nobody to blame but himself for this. Trump isn't winning Georgia in 2024 either and it will have nothing to do with 'fraud' 'cheating' 'rigged' etc. It is because Trump isn't well liked by the people in the metro Atlanta area who decide elections - Independents and Moderates.

What changed in Georgia more than in any of its neighboring states?

Trump beat Hillary by a point and Biden by three. It doesn't sell as well as you imply.

Compare the demographics for one and I am not just talking about racial demographics. How many college educated voters does Alabama have compared to Georgia? Trump struggles with that demographic nationwide. We can start there then move onto the next thing.

It sold enough to win. I wasn’t implying anything further.

They're not trying to sell anything in Florida because Trump won and we have two GOP senators. There's no other comparable situation to Georgia that I know of. He's turned off large numbers of traditional GOP voters, plain and simple, and he did much of that AFTER the 2020 election.

Did the demographics change significantly in 4 years in Georgia vis a vis its neighboring states?

Did Trump publicly shite all over popular GOP office holders in neighboring states?

Okay. Sorry. The republican candidate still did better in Florida in 2020 than in 2016, yet quite worse in Georgia from that time to the next. It’s an odd phenomenon that does not seem to be easily explained by “demographics.”

He's selling resentment and retribution and in reality it's all about him and his ego at this point. Plus MAGA Republicans keep misreading the electorate in places like GA and AZ. Take a look at electoral trends for the last 20 years in both places on the district level....and in the case of GA listen to what your competition is saying.

GA has been a project for the Democrats since before 2012 as has been AZ and they have not been shy about broadcasting their plans in either place

No way anyone can seriously think this.

You can believe the election was stolen due to funny stuff with ballots in swings states, but anyone who seriously thinks Trump actually won California, but that state was stolen from him, is a brain dead zombie.

Since 2020 Trump has struggled with college educated voters not just in Georgia but nationwide. Nothing has to change in the demographics for that to be the case. In 2016 that group was willing to give Trump a chance. In 2020 they were done with him. Does this make sense to you? Nothing has to 'change' for that to be the case.

Sell was in quotes for a reason. Georgia should be as smart as Florida. Floridians no longer need to be “sold on” what a disaster a democrat elected official will be.

Apparently Georgia still knows that when it comes to their governor, so what's different about races the Dems are picking up?

Well it leads back to Kemp, so….

Why would Kemp block legislation that would lead to a investigation of SOS? I mean if everything is legit and legal this legislation should be welcomed by all, right? If the SOS was not doing everything legally would it not be to everyone's best interest to uncover the crimes? You would think Kemp would want transparency right? Kemp and Ratsperger should be welcoming any investigation as everything was legit and they have nothing to worry about or hide. I think we all know why they are fighting this.
