She didn't. Did you watch long enough to see her confuse President Trump with her husband towards the end?
Probably the only time in White House history that a press secretary ended a press briefing after calling on only three reporters.

I feel sorry for her in that she was pushed into the spotlight too quickly without adequate preparation...but she simply can't think on her feet quickly enough to be an effective press secretary.

I literally have never seen a high profile White House appointee set themselves on fire so spectacularly on their first day.
I dug into lots of stuff that I didn't post, because I know people aren't as interested as I am. For instance, she claims she was "General Counsel" for a California company. She might have opened herself up for prosecution by CALIFORNIA of all jurisdictions.
