Just because she is resigning doesnt mean she shouldnt be brought up for the laws she broke in the congress position she held.

If all she was doing is having an affair, or a threesome, it would not be a problem. When you are banging an underling, that is a problem because it can be viewed as harassment, since the underling may feel they can't say no, whether you agree with that or not, I don't care, that's the way it is. The underling is alleging abuse, OOPS. And supposedly the congresswoman was giving her underling campaign money. If even just one of those two allegations are true, there is no way she can weather this fecal storm.

If I was a congressperson, I would make sure I got through two terms before royally screwing up and having to resign.

It's called ethics. Teachers aren't supposed to frick their 18 year-old students and politicians shouldn't be intercoursing with their staff. There's nothing illegal about it but it just doesn't set well with people who don't think with their dick.

This bitch really fricked herself. She was young in a district becoming increasingly blue and also was given leadership positions in the House practically unheard of for a freshman. With how much they were pushing her, I wouldn't be surprised if they were grooming her to run for Feinstein's seat once she finally retires or croaks.
