Kash Patel Says FBI Investigating Source of Funding for the L.A. Riots

FBI Director Kash Patel said Monday night that the bureau is investigating the funding behind the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protests in Los Angeles.

“The FBI is investigating any and all monetary connections responsible for these riots,” Patel said in a statement to Just the News.

When asked about the possibility of foreign influences on the riots on the John Solomon Reports podcast, Republican Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs said, “Not a doubt in my mind.”

“You got the outside influences, the Mexican flags and all these people and the Mexican president, Sheinbaum,” Biggs said. “All these people, they hate this country, and they want to change this country, and it’ll turn, basically, the country into a Third World hellhole.” (RELATED: CNN, MSNBC Referred To LA Riots As ‘Peaceful’ 170 Times)

Former FBI Executive Assistant Director Chris Piehota explained how he thinks the bureau will look for these connections.

“What they will do is they’ll start looking for those connections between the financial and logistical networks that these people depend on to create these, I would say planned disturbances or augmented disturbances,” he said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. “So yeah, I think you’re gonna see the FBI make a much more aggressive push into some of those areas to cut off their funding and their logistics.”

The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a socialist group tied to pro-Chinese Communist Party millionaire Neville Roy Singham, has already been linked to the anti-ICE riots.

State financial documents also show that a progressive activist group in the center of the anti-ICE protests has received California and federal government grants, according to the New York Post.
