Jailing a former POTUS on process crimes would be an incredibly destructive precedent to set.

I'm old enough to remember when it was horrifying for a candidate to say he was going to "lock up" his political opposition.
But I also come from an era where it was unimaginable for a candidate to not accept the results of an election.
