To continue, the state (in this case school boards) have repeatedly shown that they don't value your opinions when it comes to YOUR children. They only value your money you pay in taxes.

Think about that. If you do nothing but bitch on your local Facebook page, then you haven't suffered enough yet comrade.

A joke. I know a football coach in Paris very, very well. Right across the Red River.

I don’t see how putting it in their dress code somehow makes it immune from the mandate, but anyway.

We are driving 30 mins out our way to take our pre k student to a different school.

It was sad in the school board meeting hearing the board admit that the mask are useless and maybe could harm the children but told us to Comply and mask the kids bc they are worried about funding and worried about sports being taken away.

Look into home schooling or private schools. If you can’t afford private school then research financial help for private schools.

You believe this even though every place that didn't mask children fared better than the USA?

We chose homeschool before last year. Very pleased with the decision. Sacrifices are made. Lifestyle altered. It is beyond measure how important this is for the children. No one needs to have all the excess we have in usa. Pare down and make it work.

This is your biggest worry?

IT SHOULD BE!!! If, as a responsible parent, you aren't concerned about the long term effects of what this may do, then you are failing your own offspring and your responsibilities as their PRIMARY protector.

I saw all of this coming last school year and we started our daughter at a great, small private school this year.
Masks are "up to the parents", as it should be and there will be no mandatory gene therapy for us.

It should be. Everything that happens afterward will be a direct response to the reaction from this.

My daughter's future is the hill I'm willing to die on.
Your hill may be different than mine.

We tell our kids to wear their mask below their nose so they can get fresh air, be polite and respectful if told to pull up their mask, then pull it back down when the commie walks away. Sounds like bs, but all about choosing your battles. I fight the mask mandates and other bs on other fronts. I educate my kids about the world and don't keep them in the dark. Patience. Of course, my kids aren't in front of a screen 24/7. We do other things like gun safety and target practice for hunting purposes. 1/2 hr a night after all homework, dinner and chores is all they get for screen time and most of the times they don't even want it...

homeschooling paperwork is ready to go, but I'd like to think we can fix this eventually. call me naive

Tell your kids masks don’t work per science. And apologize for not being a man.

If you comply you die. This stuff is for life there is no end game. Other than total enslavement

Have you written the school board a strongly worded letter yet?

The second you pull your mask up when you are told to is the second you lost.
