He is resigning as PM once the Liberals have a new leader.
He is doing it that way to prevent the government losing a confidence vote, which would trigger elections sooner where the Liberals would get smashed. This way, they are hoping to have a new leader in place for an election later in the year.

Acquired a company located in Quebec. Its Canadian law that you have to send all correspondence and documents in French and English.
Failure to do so can result in fines and other penalties.
So anyone who was upset they were bought out would constantly report us anytime someone would forget to have a translator create the french version on emails or other documents.
It was nonstop with them.
