Good. I like to hear all the scared crybabies bitch and complain. The news had liberal twats complaining about the Virginia governor shutting down the mask mandate in schools. If you’re that afraid, keep your kid home.

NYC is about to get pummeled with lawsuits from people cited for no mask and restaurants shut down for not enforcing masks.

Checks and balances works again. Ruling states governor (executive branch) no longer had emergency power from legislature, so executive branch could not pass a “law”.

Judge said state legislature needed to pass a law to institute mask mandate

That's just the Supreme Court though right? In NY, the Supreme Court isn't the highest court.

Maybe. I'm sure the governor will appeal before that though.

So be it. At least they will be accountable to voters.

That's how it should be.

Correct. In NY the Court of Appeals is the highest state Court...

I have a friend in upstate NY. She told me Erie County has already said this ruling doesn't change anything in Erie County because their mandate falls under a different law or something??? They just won't let it go.
