So the verse before says not to judge or you will be judged.

Which is a warning.

Then the paragraph I wuoted Said it was hypocritical ally to worry about other people’s sins while you have your own.

So what do you think that means? To me it seems like Jesus is telling you not to judge unless you’re perfect.

Are you perfect?

And the issue inhabe with some people is they read that passage and think “I am So good and so righteous I am fine being judged”

Which is an insane proposition given human nature.

Did Bud Light actually ever put out the can in question? I ask assuming they were FINALLY smart enough to not do that. Imagine the shite that the internet would do with that can.

All of which would cause hand wringing, laughter, and of course screams of hate crimes….. Against a can.

No

I'm perfect in Christ currently

The verse reads; Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

I'm more than willing to be judged in the same manor and comparison as a deviate or abomination.

If I'm perfect in Christ, the judgement given onto me, will not be condemning.

I’m a practicing jew. I read The Torah as my ancestors attempt to explain their beliefs in the Lord. I believe That impossible to do without putting it in context. I habe Read most of the New Testament thanks to 5 years at a religious school. I don’t Dislike any of the teaching but I am Also willing to admit my faith in the lord is 100% faith and adding a Jesus to it is a bit too much for me.

I'm not a Christian but is it "judging" someone if you point out what the "supreme judge" (God) has already judged?

They didn't made the judgement, God did.

Thanks for the response. So, this all puts YOU in good stead on the aspect of being able to judge others and it's just those who profess to be Christians who must work under a blanket prohibition of doing so?

Judging someone is judging someone.

Only the lord knows his judgements.

You are not perfect in Christ. You are a sinner. You are not worth of heaven. Nobody is worthy of heaven.

Agreed.

But pointing out a judges judgement isn't the same thing as making the judgement yourself.

So we can't know if anything is sinful?

We can. And listen as a society we need courts and stuff, but again judging the merits of someone else’s actions put you under the grindstone. Strong advised against by someone who is supposed to have some authority in the Christian faith.

I just know Jesus said it’s really hard for a rich man to get into heaven.

Like I said good luck. I dont Make the decisions.

He’s got a lot of confidence in being perfect.

I haven't bought a light beer in over 20 years and even when I did it wasn't anything made by Anheuser Busch. They just aren't good. I believe the only thing I have purchased within recent memory that was made by Anheuser Busch company was Negro Modelo and that's a damn good beer. So, I've basically been boycotting Anheuser Bush before it was cool to do so.
