paxton is not a good guy but dont get it twisted, he is almost singlehandedly responsible for ending the Bush Dynasty in Texas and the TXGOPE hate him for it. Karl Rove’s appearances on Fox News are hilarious if you understand the context of how much he hates Ken Paxton for basically ending his political consulting career in Austin.

I think Paxton the person has also pissed off a lot of important TXGOP people. He certainly lacks an agreeable personality.

those are the the same TXGOPE I referred to in the previous post. They aren't all Bushies, some of them are the GOP TX Country Club crowd that Paxton has fought on regulations.

which is why he was an odd choice for the US Senate seat to primary Cornyn. I think Wesley Hunt would have been a much better choice but the TXGOP didn't want to burn up Hunt's future in a primary against Cornyn. The TXGOPE was perfectly fine with Cornyn which opened the door for a wildcard like Paxton to unseat him.
