ETA - I looked it up. It was Bresden who termed out in Jan 2011.
Buddy Mackay (D) finished Lawton Childs (D) term in Florida in Jan of 1999.

Both of Florida's Senators were Democrats as recently as 2005.
Bill Nelson(D) held his Senate seat from 2001-2019.
Rick Scott won his gubernatorial campaigns by 1.1% in 2010 and 1.07% in 2014.
DeSantis won his first gubernatorial campaign by .4%
If a purple state is defined as "a US state where the Democratic and Republican parties have similar levels of support among voters."
Then Florida would have certainly qualified as purple.

Florida was famous from 2000-18 for having razor tight elections that went either way. DeSantis actually was hurt by the Trump endorsement in the General, it helped some in the Primary though not nearly as much as has been publicized if you look at the timelines. Trump just loves to jump in and take credit for everything and expects blood loyalty. Of course he isn't loyal to anyone but they must be loyal to him.

You don't call out anybody for being hypocritical. To do that, you'd have to be able to legit explain how they're hypocritical. You can never do that.
Ronbots come in different shapes/sizes, but I don't recall any of them crying about Trump's hand size or his ties. You are full of shite.
What I do recall - because it happens every day - are Ronbots posting criticism of Trump for spending like a liberal, not completing the wall, and handing the country over to Democrats because of a virus with 99.9% survivability.
