Good point. The executive branch has so many departments and layers never intended in the early days of the republic, which is why losing the presidency in 2016 pissed off the democrats so much. They couldn’t let it happen again.
Question: if the senate is so feckless, why did Senator Cruz cut his vacation short? There’s nothing he can do besides photo ops, right?
