Ron is a good guy. Solid governor, practical, normal.
It's not really his fault that fate put him in the mix with a once in a 100 year mega politician like Trump.
Just bad luck for him really. Any other time and he would have been fine.

I think he has been advised incorrectly to try to straddle the Always Trumpers and the GOPe and it is failing spectacularly. Either he and his handlers believe DJT will be disqualified leaving him as next best choice or he is getting really bad strategy advice. If Rove and JEB are really senior advisors then it is easy to see what the problem is. The Bush Cabal are going to protect the RNC Mothership at all costs.

dershowitz said there is a pathway to get some type of emergency SCOTUS relief? ruling? without going through the appellate level.
think it has something to do with removing jack smith?
NFW SCOTUS let's this crap stand if he is convicted. hell appeals may over turn it if they see where smith was not acting ethically and that he shoulda recused himself after his wife's dealings with the obamas. not to mention other reasons. sounds like smith is the one who can be charged with breaking many rules/protocols. maybe trump can go after him when this is over?
