There's no functional difference between the Mexicans who live in South Texas and the white people in other parts of rural Texas. They all vote red for generally the same reasons. This is just being racist for the sake of being racist tbh.

Can't wait to have some retard who has never stepped foot in a south Texas rural town try and tell me anything about the politics there.

Well you sound like the retard here, Skippy. I have an uncle in Edinburg and an uncle in Donna, Texass. Look them up. Is that south Texass rural enough for you? Been there many times, and politics there is dominated by marxist democrats. So are you just ignorant of which you speak, or are you a liar?

Indeed. I've lived in Round Rock for 23 years. It is totally different now. The demographics at my HEB (best place to see the populace in a general sense) has drastically changed, especially in the last 5 years. Lots of 'types' that would have gotten a double take 10 or more years ago are now the majority.

I work at a different HEB in Austin proper and there are significantly more people masked up at my round rock shopping stored as oppossed to the store I work at in ATX. Sold my house a couple months ago. Its glorious leaving the sink hole of central TX. If the Rogan's and Musk's of the world think ATX is the shite, I'm afraid of what I'll find outside of TX

Neither of those cities are rural They're legitimately not. They're also not in what I'd consider "rural" South Texas. (As opposed to just the Rio Grande Valley in general)

The RGV has had a dominant Democrat political machine just like every other damn state in the South , so just another thing they have in common with y'all tbh.

Are you kidding me bud? You've got random hick uncles that you've visited that have complained about the Mexicans and you think that makes you an expert on texas politics.

Maybe we are arresting the wrong people... If we started arresting school board members and politicians, things would probably change for the better.

Would never happen bc the people who issue warrants and make arrests are same ones who work in the criminal network we call govt.

2020 voting map.

The RGV had a dominant political machine that is in the process of getting worn out. There's also "big" cities in those counties that skew the results when you look at it like that. Like Laredo and McAllen.

When you look at the percent changes between 2016 and 2020 (people finally challenging the political machines, the GOP bothering to campaign down there, removing straight-ticket voting, and Trump not campaigning at the expense of Mexicans...) you get

Even the raw numbers aren't bad at all when everything doesn't get lumped strictly by county.

Political machines don't reflect the actual beliefs of the constituents.
