If they said this as part of a plea agreement don't they have to sign sworn statements?

In connection with their arrest, they may have provided written statements which would likely be made with the written disclaimer that it was under penalty of perjury. It may also constitute injuring public records (Louisiana at least) if they lied in their statements. Same potential charges for Jussie.

He’s said the two on the video were certainly the attackers. This was probably his only truth. Of course he knew who they were since he apparently paid them.
