Ye, We need to be thankful and it does bother me greatly we have so many people who have no clue what we have or have been given and the sacrifices which went along with it

Europe and the U.S. would be a lot better off today if we had just let the Nazis and Soviets destroy each other.
People will disagree, but the U.S. had ample intelligence that Japan was planning an attack. They let it happen so the US could get into the war and rescue the British. By helping Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt condemned Eastern Europe to 50 years of hell on earth.
