If Trump would have fired Fauci, Birx and Collins there would have been another shampeachment....those Bureaucratic State Skunks are part of the D.C. Untouchable class.

He didn’t have to fire him. Trump could have just regulated him to an “advisor role” instead of appointing him as the face and authority of the federal response to covid.

Well, at least you've stopped lying about getting turned away at the border and DeSantis arresting people.
But, if you want, we can go point by point and I'll fricking tear your bullshite apart.

What other governors? The dude from North Dakota? Yeah the state that has 3 people living there and had to send them to Colorado because they couldn’t handle it?
Look you can create whatever little narrative in your head that you want. The reality is that if you lived you lived here you would know differently. If you do live here and think what you just posted, you’re a liar and a democrat.
You can’t find a single conservative person who was critical of DeSantis’ COVID policy.
I don’t care if you support Trump, or any other candidate. It doesn’t matter to me. But stop acting like a histrionic democrat. Stop being a stupid liar.

Where is this comment when Jjdoc, JBdawgs, or one of SDV's alters starts a thread?

Did Fauci also threaten arrests for people on the beach like Rob did?
Anxiously awaiting the article of DeSantis arresting people on the beaches of Miami. Yes, that's what you are talking about. Unless you have some other article that implies DeSantis is to blame, and not the Miami-Dade local government that did this.
I also assume you aren't referring to when DeSantis learned of this, and directed no one can be arrested for this in Florida.
Right?

It's weird that people were flocking to our state during Covid, considering how "poorly" our governor handled everything.
They're trying desperately to make this a losing point for DeSantis, and it won't work with anyone outside of their cult.

I know for a fact two people who were run off beaches in Florida and were told it was on orders from the governor's office.
Two more people that my father-in-law knows were run off beaches by deputies and they were told it came from the governor's office.
So you know RobbBobb? This sounds like one of Robb's "DeSantis set up road blocks while i was at Disney" moment.

If they don't lie, then they don't have anything to run on. You don't see thread after thread from the sycophants touting Trump's policies...Why? All you see is smear/attack posts 99% based on fabrications.

It’s more than that. They know that COVID was an inflection point for many Trump supporters. All that tough talk really just ended up being that. Talk. Nothing more; nothing less. People can buy the narrative that the deep state actively undermined the early years of Trump’s administration. But to say that Trump couldn’t handle Fauci, NHS, and the CDC in 2020? Yeah…hard sell there.
The reality is that COVID revealed 3 things about Trump that really deserve scrutiny. One, he has no clue how to deal/manage the administrative state. Second, he is incapable of clearly articulating a position. He rambles and gets caught in the weeds. And third, lawd did he love spending money. I mean like a Shiite ton of it. Lost in the COVID spending orgy was Trump’s non-COVID budget deficit for 2020 which was an astounding $1.02 Trillion. And for those who require simple explanations, if COVID had never happened, the deficit would have been $1.02 Trillion with a fairly good economy.

This is all a waste of time. Both Trump and DeSantis did well on covid. DeSantis did better, but he was under less pressure.
Both guys got gaslighted in the beginning, but both eventually saw through it.
This should not be a factor in deciding who to nominate.
I'm for DeSantis, or another candidate if one proves to be an effective communicator. I am against Trump because he has extraordinarily high negatives, is not conservative enough for me, and he is an undisciplined administrator.
I like Trump because he is the funniest President ever. But that's not enough to counteract his negatives.

And that's really the point of all this. Trump wouldn't get nearly the criticism he gets if there wasn't an idiotic attempt to project his failures on others who handled it all much better than he did.

And Trump just knew from the start that Fauci would turn out to be who he turned out to be and he kept them still? Who in this nation would he have replaced him with?
People act like Trump, or anyone else had some kind of playbook to reference on how to handle this. Now the likes of Birx should be charged with something after she said in her book that they LIED to the President so they could keep things the way they wanted. Crazy how the arm chair QBs love to act like it would have been handled any differently by anyone else. There weren't many people who would have made the call to stop travel from Chyna when it wasn't even a big thing yet...back when Democrats were saying it was nothing and he was just being "xenophobic."
