The DNI is giving the Gang of 8 what was found at Trump, Biden, and Pence's residencies...
The difference between the 3 is Trump has the authority to declassify, which he has always claimed he did.
If they go after Trump, have to go after Biden and Pence.

I don't understand what Democrats are confused about. Trump could have any document on the planet he wanted and it was legal. Biden on the other hand would be in prison if his name was Tenderfoot.

A lot of you keep dismissing the creeping steps as they get closer and closer to getting Trump. They're going to get him - it doesn't matter what laws they have to break, or things they need to fabricate etc. They don't feel bound by obligations, the Constitution, the law, or anything else but their own pursuit of power.

I agree with you and I feel confident that Trump did order those items declassified or had an agreement wih the National Archives, but again - tell that to a DC jury.

They have unlimited discretion here. They can prosecute or not prosecute. They'll just say the 'totality of the circumstances...' yada yada yada and Trump will get hung out to dry.
