Myers received 47% of the vote and Faircloth received 34% of the vote

Your apparent high regard for the EBR GOP and the value of their political endorsements is in and of itself disturbing. That group is a bunch of looney tunes.

Did the EBR GOP endorse Phony Rispone?

Myers is a LIB.

Any relation to Jimmy Faircloth?

You have 15 posts on this board. I am not sure we should take your word for anything. Are you an attorney or family friend?
Or, are you just a Faircloth supporter anonymously attacking his rival?
BTW-didn't vote for either of these two in the first election.
Well you're not really offering anything to refute the accusations.
If it's the truth (and I'm not saying I know whether it is or isn't) it shouldn't matter where it comes from or who say's it.

On top of the issues you've outlined, being a criminal judge is fairly straightforward. It's reading out of a book for most of it. And the stuff that isn't, is fairly simple to pick up.
But the Civil stuff that this judge will be asked to do can be very complex. I don't believe Myers has ever done any civil work, while Faircloth has a civil defense practice. This is by far the harder subject matter to understand.
For that reason alone, Faircloth should have a leg up. The 19th JDC has enough ex criminal lawyers screwing up civil cases. No reason to risk it again.

I’m voting for Faircloth- without question

Faircloth is the best candidate by far.

This is exactly why I’m supporting Faircloth. The civil judges remaining in the 19th JDC have no understanding of a civil practice that is anything other than uncontested divorces. And even those they don’t understand that well. Moreover, we have a whole separate family court in BRLA that does those.
Jordan Faircloth has been a private atty since being admitted. I believe him when he says he’ll handle his criminal docket in a tough on crime manner, and also that he’ll competently handle civil cases.
Vote for Jordan Faircloth if you can hear me.

Not only that, her freaking signs list the position as "criminal judge".

I want Faircloth but I think Myers takes it. Probably won’t do jack shite once she gets elected.

The 19th JDC is a kangaroo court right now with who gets what docket, tbh. But she isn't running for a "criminal seat." She definitely defined the race early with that moniker and it's disingenuous at best, although I completely understand why she did it. But the way it is trending, this judge will likely have a civil and criminal docket.
Higginbotham moving to Kelley's docket and Trudy White retiring means both civil and criminal are open. The trend at the 19th lately has been for judges to do both civil and criminal, so I would expect both Kelley's replacement and White's replacement will do both.
And I swear, Trudy White's replacement, based on the voting district and how things have been going, is going to be a moron. We can't give up one of few republican seats in BR to a liberal criminal attorney with no background in civil law.

That's not a bad assumption. She represents the status quo. According to her own website she has worked for the ebr DA office since 2010. She's endorsed by Hillar Moore, Doug Moreau, and Tony Clayton. I don't know this but have heard that she's supported by the BR Business Report and has a lot of BR Old Money supporting her.
In contrast Jordan and his wife aren't from BR - they chose to be here. They chose this town to settle and start a family. He is a BR outsider that is choosing to do something and improve the community.
BR does not need status quo.
