I don’t understand the meltdown

US got a moderate conservative over a child predator. Is it the letter D?

Kind of like the "Democrats" here.

Anywhere else, they'd be moderate republicans.

I love when libs only swing by when their guy wins and quickly go hide when they realize Donald J. Trump is still their President.

Let's see if he is brave enough to not vote with the Dem block like the rest of them do. I highly doubt it.

wrong

however, even if you're right, the GOP has enough of these fake Republicans to make their majority meaningless

I’ve voted for way more republicans in my life than democrats, but keep those tears coming

This. "Moderate?" LOL.

This guy is a great excuse for them to continue doing nothing for another year.

Louisiana already fell for this with the current governor.

Now that he's been elected, the sales pitch can be dropped. We know what he is.

Jones will vote lock step with his party, and that's not moderate.

You mean the Democrat that’s pro second amendment and anti-abortion?

Not really a great example

Jones is a lot more progressive than JBE.

His stances on abortion, healthcare, tax reform during his campaign proved that.

Schumer in company didn’t send Booker and other hardline Dems to campaign for him without knowing he’d be lockstep anything anti trump and anti conservative.

He will govern against the will of Alabama.

His town hall meetings back home will be brutal.

You're probably right but he has to run for reelection in 2020... I've met Doug Jones a few times he seems to be generally an okay guy... I look for him to break with Democrats about 40% of the time. Of Course it will probably be be on issues that are not important

If he wants to move up. If he wants to win re election, he will have to vote with the Republicans a good bit of the time.
