Considering the vast majority of elected politicians in Louisiana have been/are either incompetent, corrupt, or both...

You would love a man who wanted an income cap and who felt it was the governments job to care for people from the cradle to the grave

He is the best one we’ve had in at least a generation. It’s a depressing list.
We can all stop pretending Jindal wasn’t a complete disaster.

Please explain to me about the "complete disaster" you say Jindal was.

I did not like the guy and was probably his biggest conservative critic on TD BUT he did not screw the state in favor of the government.

JBE is all about the growth and protection of the state government at the expense of the state.

I think you and the author of that piece are confused.

Jindal didn't break the economy. The economy of the state is not the state government budget.

He simply didn't cut the state government budget like he should have and left budget holes. Very larges ones.

There is a very big difference between the state government budget and the State.

I am happy Jindal didn't raise taxes and take more money from the state.

I am disappointed that he did not cut state government spending massively to avoid a budget shortfall that gave JBE a reason to take more from the State and the economy in the State.

I will always favor the citizen taxpayers over the government. JBE supporters would rather funnel more of our hard earned income through the government. It is really immoral to put government ahead of the State.
