Wife read an article in today's paper put out by the WAPO that said an extra 13,000 dementia patients have died since the covid began because of a lack of contact with people, i.e., isolation is bad for a dementia patient. The isolation exacerbates the symptoms. Joe's seems to be a good example of that seeing how he is basement bound damn near all the time.

Maybe it's some sort of tic with Biden, but my grandmother had dementia that turned into Alzheimer's, and one of the early signs she showed was touching her face. Biden strokes the side of his cheeks frequently during his speeches

My mother-in-law did the same thing. She really started going downhill in May of last year and died the second week of Sept.The wife was her primary family caretaker and we were astonished how fast she went down.
