This is what jumped out to me.
One of the biggest icons of the DEMOCRATIC PARTY passes.
The Republican President expresses genuine emotion and sympathy immediately upon hearing of the news.
His DEMOCRATIC opponent, has to wait a couple hours, appear from Lord knows where, and read some deadpan blank stared statement that had been typed up and put in a binder, and then immediately is whisked away — to Lord knows where.
And the world is supposed to pretend that’s just completely how we are supposed to operate and move straight to attacking the guy who actually presented like a frickING HUMAN BEING.
